Cool Kitty
Last night I had dinner with Debbie. The first time we were able to get together since I came back from Lake Tahoe which was only 3 weeks ago but seems like a lifetime! I had some Lake Tahoe goodies for her. I got her a really cute T shirt that had Lake Tahoe on it. The new souvenir stores now carry such cute clothes that you can really wear them instead of it just being a T shirt that you throw in a drawer. I got her a great hand painted coffee mug also. And some stuff from Virginia City when we were in one of those nostalgia stores. I got some Beatle’s live posters. We had dinner at Tallyrand which I might add will be back on TV next week. Huell Howser’s California Gold on PBS/KCET on Monday 8/3 at 7:30 p.m.
Now for my title. Lily is one of the most mischievous kitties I have ever had. She is in everything and it is very dangerous. I was making my lunch in the kitchen and going in and out of the fridge and at one point she must of jumped in because when I opened it to place my lunch bag in there she was laying on the second shelf with not a care in the world. I was horrified and laughing at the same time. So I am now always looking in the fridge to make sure she is not in there. I feel like have OCD now. I don’t do anything or go anywhere until I check the fridge. So I will now have to make sure she does not get in the washer or dryer. We all know what happened to my son’s kitty Oreo, he was wrapped up in wet heavy blankets in the dryer thank goodness or he would of died the Vet said.

I was just going to say… it reminds me of when Oreo got in the dryer! Lily does sounfd like a cool and curious cat. Kalani is our cat that crawls into anything he can. Boxes, drawers, the attic… he even tried to get down the floor heater vent when it was off for the flooring. Oy! Good luck with Lily!
Hi Dru;
Oh my! Imagine if you didn’t have to open the fridge to put your lunch in it! It makes you want to hope Lily grows up soon and she’ll outgrow her kitty curiousity and mischievous nature.
Have a less stressful evening my friend. Hugs
Dru - I laughed at Lily’s antics! That is scary, but funny too. I would be like you - OCD.
She will make life fun for you - she sounds like a toddler.
How old is she? I’ve never heard the Oreo story - would love to hear the entire story.
Yeah, it’s amazing how much better quality souvenir shops are now. Although, I think Vegas has some pretty bad ones - filled with stuff you wonder who in this world would buy.
Have a great Friday Dru! Hugs
LOL, Lily sounds so curious and adorable
and I am sure she is a joy to have at home with you, even if she likes to have a peek everywhere, even in the fridge!
