Planning a “Girls Getaway”

Paul did come into town and Lisa came with him last night. They stayed the night since Paul had a lot of work to do since he missed coming into town last week because he was working on Lisa’s brothers office building in Riverside. We all met up at Tallyrand for dinner after I got off work. Lisa and I discussed our “girls getaway” for her 42nd Birthday which is March 1st. We are going to go to Palm Springs for the weekend of Feb 26th and stay at the Palm Canyon Resort & Spa. There will be 4 of us Chris, Lisa, Belinda and I. We booked 2 junior suites. We are going to see the Menopause The Musical on Saturday evening and Lisa of course wants to hit some of Palm Springs new Casino’s which I have been to yet. It has been a few years since I have been to Palm Springs and when I was there last there were no casino’s. Menopause The Musical I have seen twice when it was playing at the Cornet theater in Los Angeles for many many years. It has since went on the road. If you haven’t seen it yet check out their website to see when it will be in town near you. I am sure you will love it like I do. When I saw it was playing in Palm Springs Feb-March I thought that would be a great idea to go there for Lisa’s birthday weekend. It was her idea to stay there for the weekend. So I am really looking forward to that.

    Your girls getaway sounds like something I would love. Palm Springs is a lovely area and I would love the casinos. I haven’t been to one since Jan. 2006 on the cruise with my sister, brother and SIL. That was the best part of the cruise. :lol:

    Menopause the Musical looks like a great show. I enjoyed the video.

    Hi Dru! Sounds like fun plans for Lisa’s birthday! I always love staying in the Palm Springs area- usually Palm Desert. It was fun in the old days to be in old Palm Springs, too. Used to be a teen paradise! ;) (((Hugz)))
