“Snowmageddon” |
|
We didn’t nearly had as much rain as you would think with all the news coverage here, less than 2 inches as compared to the East with over 30 inches of snow on Saturday. Three U.S. states declared a state of emergency after a near record breaking snow storm jokingly dubbed ” Snowmageddon” in and around Washington D.C. on Saturday.
Superbowl Sunday I was at work while Sam watched it on our TV. I was only interested in the commercials and The Who at halftime.
My DVR seems to be acting up? It has only been 2 months since they installed my new HD DVR. Some of my scheduled recurring shows are not recording even though it shows that they are programed to? It is beginning to really irritate me now. I have to make sure I keep an eye on all my programs that are scheduled to record on a daily basis because of fear I will miss a new episode of one of my TV shows. When I called Charter and told them the problem they said they would send someone out to look at my DVR. I said there is no looking I need a new one, so make sure they have one on their truck. And when I say new I mean new to me because they use all refurbished equipment which really irks me! So over the weekend I cleared all my shows out in my DVR and this week I have to keep on top of all my shows recording, since Saturday they will come and give me a new DVR and whatever I haven’t watched I will loose!
You Are a Blizzard
|

You are both dangerous but beautiful. People both welcome you and fear you.
You can cause a lot of trouble and even destruction. Some would argue that you’re worth it though!
You tend to overtake people and change everything. You aren’t subtle, but you are sometimes hard to see through.
There is a quiet and stillness that you sometimes bring. Some find you to be quite peaceful.

Happy Monday Dru;
That would urk me too losing shows that didn’t record on my DVR. We had Charter in San Jose when I was living there and they were pretty good with problems. I hope you get a new one.
I didn’t watch the Super Bowl at all. This year it didn’t interest me. I’m looking forward to baseball as spring training starts next week.
I took the quiz and find I’m a Tornado. LOL!!
Have a lkovely day my friend. Hugs

Hello Dru, glad you didn’t get as much rain as it felt, when it rains here it pours. I hope you can get a new DVR that works, I have one with the cable company, I have used it only a couple of times. I’m not watching many shows. Have a great day, hugs

Happy Monday, Dru! LOL @ Snowmageddon! Zeno and I saw the beautiful snow-blanket around Washington DC online. When When we lived there (2001-2002) we only got 10-20cm of snow during winter. Glad your did not get much rain! Have a lovely beginning of the week my friend. Hugs!!
