We had a beautiful weekend in the mid 80′s. I worked and really didn’t do much else except grocery shopping and a little cleaning around the house. Caught up on my TV shows recorded in my DVR and that was about it.

Last night was a lot of fun at the Meltdown Show at the Nerdist theater in Hollywood. We had VIP tix that Joe had won so no need to worry about where we were in line we could scoot right to the front row in the theater. I had a great dinner at the Sunset Grill I wanted to eat something different, so I had their egg sandwich on sourdough w/egg, tomatoes & bacon, it was so good! And I added a side of onion rings of which I just ate a few to satisfy me. Yum yum!!!! Believe it or not onion rings are not high in calories 8-10 rings are only 266 calories. Healthwise they do not have much nutritional value though. When I got home I immediately watched Survivor I couldn’t wait until tonight to watch it. I must say this is the worst season ever for me. They are all a bunch of dummies and irrtate the you know what out of me. Hey one season out of 24 seasons ain’t bad. This TV show has been on for 12 years and I have watched it from the very beginning May 31st 2000.

Tonight usually is our weekly Doug Loves Movies podcast show at UCB but he is on the road and he does his podcasts in clubs when he is not in town. So tonight I am getting together with the girls. Barbara and Gina, long time friends and ex co-workers of Nationsbanc/Bank of America Mortgage in Pasadena. It was my dream job and I was lucky to have had it for the 10 years I was there. Barbara was the head of HR and Gina worked in HR also. So we have kept in touch after all the years we worked together. My last day there was May 2000. I walked away with 1 year severance pay and full benifits also for a year plus I collected unemployment. Because of the pay scale I was at there when I got my full time job at Miracle I took a deep cut in pay so that is why I had to take a second part time job at the Hospital. Those days of getting paid the way I did during those years are over I am afraid. Well anyway we are meeting at BJ’s Brewery Restaurant in Burbank tonight for dinner and to catch up.
