I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoys the extra day off today. My weekend was good even though I worked. Saturday Joe, Daniel and I saw Sex and the City 2 and phooey on the critics panning it!! We loved it!! There were some great Samantha quotes that I wish I could post but they probably would offend some We went to the 10:15 AM show and the movie was 2 hours and 26 minutes long so when we got out it was time for lunch. We went to the Chevy’s Fresh Mex and I tried their carnita’s tacos and they were great. It is time to bring out all my Summer clothes. Yesterday was 92 and today is suppose to be in the 80’s and for the rest of the week.

My Memorial day weekend will be a working weekend for me! I am working 3:30-Midnight all weekend including Monday the holiday! Ca ching! Today after work I go right to the Hospital to work 5:30-Midnight. The only plans I have so far before work is tomorrow, Daniel, Joe and I are going to see Sex and the City 2 at 10:00 AM near my house at the AMC theaters. We will have lunch afterwards close by, there is a Chevy’s Tex Mex and a California Pizza Kitchen right next door to the theater. The kids went to the river for the weekend. Dinner was fun last night with Barbara and Gina. I had Don Cuco’s delicious Caribbean salad. We sat and talked for over 2 hours getting all caught up. I rushed home again to watch the finale of American Idol. I have not watched all the episodes this year I was pretty disappointed in the talent and the judges. Paula leaving and Ellen replacing. I wanted Lee to win pretty much all the way through from what I did watch. So I was not disappointed with the results needless to say! He won!! I will most likely will not watch next year since Simon will be leaving also. Most of all my shows are ending or ended. It is the end of our favorite TV shows until Fall. So I will finally get to watch my lonely Netflix DVD Bad Lieutenant-New Orleans with Nicholas Cage. Then I will upgrade my account to two at a time again. I also see there are going to be some new Summer replacement shows. I loved last years Harpers Island TV series. It was a reoccurring horror/mystery TV show, my favorite kind of movies.

Paul was in town yesterday and here today he had some work to help Richard out with. Getting Richard’s SUV set up to tow behind his new motorhome, he is taking it on our trip to Lake Tahoe in July. So we met up at Tally Rand for dinner. I had their yummy Fresh Chicken Club on 9 grain wheat toast w/ fruit. Paul always gets their fresh turkey dinner which this time he got a fresh turkey sandwich instead. They roast all their turkeys daily. After dinner I rushed home to see the Dancing with the Stars finale and I was not surprised with Nicole & Derek winning at all, I knew it all along. Tonight and tomorrow night is the American Idol finale. Rooting for Lee!
