Back to the Hospital! |
Last night Mario outdid himself he gave me a great haircut. It is funny how once or twice a year out of all the haircuts I get a year which is about 10, and the same haircut each time that one or two just seem to fall just perfect around my face. I was very tempted to go to Zankou chicken when I passed by it but I refrained since I had that petite filet mignon in the fridge which has been defrosted since Wednesday. It was very good by the way. I made a little salad and had grilled veggies as my side.

So Cal Weather |
What a spectacular day we had yesterday. The sky was blue with just a few white puffy clouds. That is the weather we are use to here in So Cal. I decided to take a brisk walk after I got back from getting my nails done last night. It is a little chilly when the sun is down but it felt so good. I walked 2.5 miles roundtrip. Paul called me while I was walking he was back in town again one of his work trucks needed to be taken into the shop so he was here for the night and will go back home after it is fixed tomorrow. We met up with Linda, Richard and Chris for dinner at Marie Callender’s in Toluca Lake.

Cleaned, Shopped & Relaxed |
It was really nice having another day off yesterday. I relaxed and watched a DVD “The Other Man” with Liam Neesen, Laura Linney and Antonio Banderas. I enjoyed it even though I think it was a straight to video movie. I think it was an English movie. There was a twist to this plot too like another movie I had watched recently. I had to rethink things after the twist came almost at the end of the movie. It was from the director of “Notes on a Scandal”. I also cleaned my house a little and did a little laundry. For lunch I made a yummy ham sandwich with my cranberry walnut whole wheat bread I got at Hadley’s on our way back from Palm Springs Sunday. I went shopping at Pavilion’s and bought some sandwich meats from their deli, ham, turkey and roast beef for sandwiches.
