Graveyard!

 emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I got a call early in the AM yesterday and it was the Hospital, they wanted me to work the graveyard shift last night. Raven was not feeling well. So my plans to visit the kids went right out the window! I worked 12:00-8:00 AM. It is an easy shift and you make more money working it! So today I will go home at 8:00 AM feed the cats and set up the automatic cat feeder and head to the kids house until Thursday. Paul was in town last night so we met up for dinner at, you guessed it Tallyrand. Guess what? I finally got a call back on a job, I don’t want to jinx it by talking about it too much, but I will say it is really close to my house 5.78 miles and I will probably have the interview on Friday. They will call me back on Wednesday to set the time.

Heading Back Down

 emoticon emoticon emoticon

I had a pretty good weekend. It felt a little weird starting work on Friday at 3:30 instead of my usual 5:30 but I am happy to get the extra hours. Saturday was fun having lunch at the The Cheesecake Factory and catching up with the girls. We had a long 3 hour lunch. Barb and I got the lunch special, pizza and a small salad. We both had the chicken, mushroom and roasted garlic pizza with grilled onions, mozzarella and parmesanpizza. It is so big I had it for dinner at the Hospital later that night. Gina had the Miso salmon, salmon marinated in miso and baked. Served with miso sauce, snow peas and white rice with a salad. They both had mojitos, I had pellegrini water. We walked around a little, they had never been to The Americana at Brand.

What A Recap?

 emoticon emoticon emoticon

I got to the kids house around 3:00 they were right behind me, coming back from Burbank. We BBQ’d steaks and went to Justin’s Pony League game I have a Vimeo below of Justin making a run on base. Today I am going to go shopping with Lisa, I need a new interview outfit and shoes. The ones I have are outdated since I have only dressed real casual at Miracle Sealants and at the Hospital for the last 7 years. And the dressy clothes I have are too dressy and sexy to wear on an interview, if you know what I mean?
