I will be heading to the kids house from work at around noon today. I will be there until Sunday afternoon and then head home. I am so happy and thankful to be spending Thanksgiving with my family again this year!! I will be making my candied yams and cornbread stuffing. Lisa my DIL is a fabulous cook and baker so she will be doing all the rest. There will only be 8 of us for Thanksgiving, so we are going to just roast one turkey instead of having 2 one roasted and one deep fried like we usually do every year. I will take lots of pictures. After work last night I went to the Hospital and worked 3 1/2 hours all while watching the finale of DWTS. I made myself a salad from the cafeteria salad bar and both Naomi and I worked away while commenting on who we thought would win. It will be between Brooke and Lance I think? I am still rooting for Brooke Burke of course and so is she. So we will see tonight who wins the disco ball. Tonight after work I have lots to do for my 4 1/2 days off. I need to pack, p/u the fresh turkey for the kitties to put in their feeder for while I am gone. They will enjoy fresh turkey on Thanksgiving too! I go to Tallyrand and I get their Turkey dip which is warm fresh sliced turkey on a french roll with au jus and a small salad. Oh it is so good and loaded full of turkey enough for 2 days worth for the cats. I will of course pick one up for me also for dinner tonight. We are expecting some rain today and tomorrow and it is suppose to clear up for Thanksgiving. It is suppose to be a light rain and hopefully we will get some snow in our local mountains so they can open our ski resorts.

Saturday I was able to sleep in until 8:00 AM, and it felt good to get a good 7 hours sleep for a change. I left my house at 10:15 to meet Darylynn and Susan at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa at a restaurant called Z’Tejas. I was amazed it only took me 45 minutes door to door. We had a nice long lunch 3 plus hour lunch. It was nice getting to know Susan and hearing about her lovely family. She was gushing over her little Eddie and as Darylynn was over Ryan. We had our pictures taken inside and outside the restaurant. I was off and on my way home at about 3:00. I had already scheduled myself to come in at 6:00 at the Hospital so I had time to get a much needed oil change and a car wash. I even had time to go home change my clothes and then I headed to work. Sunday I worked 7:45-4:15 and after work I headed to Joe’s for a change. He usually comes out my way since we always meet after I get off work which is everyday. I had a hankering for The Cheesecake Factory and there is one walking distance from his house in Sherman Oaks. Instead of dinner I had a piece of Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake OMG I was in heaven!!! I also checked out the DSW there in the galleria. Not that I really need new shoes but wanted to see if I could find a fancy black pair for when we dress up in New Orleans for New Years and when we have formal night on the cruise ship next month. Only 37 more days!!!!! I did not find any that I liked and when I went into my closet I had forgot about the fancy shoes I had bought for my 2006 cruise that I completely forgot I had. So I am happy I did not buy new ones. I am really all set for our trip.

Today is just my back to back job day. Last night I watched Survivor and was happy to see Randy go he bugged me from the beginning! I also saw online my shows being cancelled Dirty Sexy Money, Eli Stone (which I love) & Lipstick Jungle. I want to know who are these people with these Nielsen boxes? Because I have never known anyone that has had one, ever??
