I got my Netflix DVD’s yesterday and I watched Cassandra’s Dream with Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell and Tom Wilkinson. It was written and directed by Woody Allen. It was not a comedy. He has gotten pretty good at dramas. Match Point was a great drama that he wrote and directed a few years ago. This one was not as good, just OK. After dinner and the DVD, I exercised to a Leslie Sansone’s DVD Walking Off the Pounds for about 45 minutes.

Last night I walked about 2 miles before eating dinner. I picked up a turkey sub and then got the urge to walk some more.There was nothing on TV. So I took my ID, debit card and cell phone and headed to the mall which is maybe 3/4 of a mile from my house. There is a steep hill over a bridge that gives you a good aerobic walk. I am becoming a walking machine. I went into Macy’s in the mall and I saw some Ed Hardy shoes that I could not live without. As Lisa would say “they are Dru shoes” I am normally a sandal and flats person but these were just to cute to resist. I only bought one pair BUT wanted to get a rose color pair also, but they are not cheap so I didn’t. I also picked up 2 pairs of bermuda type shorts, black and khaki for our trip. I made the walk back home from the mall bags and all. At least they were light. Today other than work I have nothing planned, except to swing by after work to the Vet’s to get my 2 month supply of prescription pet food. Hopefully my 2 Netflix DVD’s will come today so I can watch one tonight.

I am going through TV withdrawals, most all my shows are in reruns. I have only Law & Order CI to look forward to. There are going to be few new episodes in June, on the USA channel. Last night I watched “Recount” it was produced by Sydney Pollack who just passed away on Monday! The HBO film was about the 2000 Presidential Election and the Florida recount, starring Kevin Spacey, Laura Dern, John Hurt, Tom Wilkinson and Dennis Leary. I liked it a lot! It was nerve wracking to watch!! What a crazy time! Last night was my nail appointment, so I took a short walk with my flip flops on since my toes were wet after dinner. Our weather is heating up and and it was a beautiful night for a walk. I plan to take a nice long walk after dinner tonight with tennis shoes this time. Not much else going on here at “Casa Dru”

I watched my Sex and the City DVD’s all weekend, in-between working and while working. Kind of a SATC marathon at Dru’s house and at work. I hooked up my DVD player to our TV at the Hospital to watch them. I am gearing up for the Sex and the City movie that opens this Friday. Darylynn and I are going to see it Saturday. I am very excited about that.
