Happy New Years Eve! |
|
Chris and I had a great dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I tried something different for a change the Vietnamese shrimp summer rolls. Rice paper rolled around asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, rice noodles, green onion, cilantro and shrimp. They are served chilled not fried. Boy they were good! I took a piece of cheesecake home for later. Joe lives right down the street so he joined us for dinner not the movie. The Bucket List was a riot, and touching at the same time. I really enjoyed it. Big lump in the throat, let me tell you! Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson were great in it together. I love Morgan Freeman’s voice!

Dinner and a Movie Night! |
|
Today I work 8-4:30 and after work Chris and I are getting together for dinner and a movie. We are going to the Cheesecake Factory in Sherman Oaks, I was there last with Darylynn, and to see the Bucket List at the new Arclight Cinemas. It is all reserved seating. I purchased the tickets online and printed them out, you pick the seats you want, they also have a Cafe Bar with Cappachino’s and booze besides their snack bar. Fancy Schmancy! Joe is going to walk down to meet us for dinner only. He lives right down the street.

I posted about a week ago about a movie that Netflix had recommended. I am guessing because I like horror films and I live in Burbank. The movie was “Blood Sucking Babes from Burbank” I had mentioned in my post that it was in my queue on Netflix. A couple days later I got a tag from the writer, director and producer of the movie, Kirk Bowman. He had googled the movie and my blog came up. He wanted to know what I thought of it after I saw it. A few days ago I got another tag from Danilo Mancinelli, the co producer and star of the movie, hoping I would enjoy the movie. Let me add I went on the website IMBD and looked Danilo up and he is very good looking. Isn’t the internet funny. Here is my little blog about nothing, and I was googled just because of my comment about that movie. I also want to add. It is next in my queue. And I will email them to let them know what I think of it.

Now I am off and running, working at the Hospital after work tonight then all the way thru Tuesday. Joe and I are going to continue the New Years tradition of going to Canter’s Deli after I get off work at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
