Wild Fires! |
As I am posting this at the Hospital last night and the smell of smoke is overwhelming here inside of the PBX. There is a wild fire in the hills near Universal Studios and we are very close to that. They are saying they are questioning 2 teens. No homes have been effected at the time I am writing this. It has warmed up a lot again in the high 70’s and low 80’s. And we are really dry we have had hardly any rain at all this year, like 2 inches the total and we are usually are at least 12 inches by this time!

Wild Weather! |
Yesterday started out sunny with big white puffy clouds then at about 12:00 the weather became wild! Wild winds then the dark clouds blew in and it poured for about 10 minutes the winds came back and blew all the clouds away and it was really windy all the way to the Hospital. On the news trees toppled onto houses and cars in our area! The Hospital power went out and they were on back up generators. Our PBX system was down for about 10 minutes they had to call a code triage. I also heard the power was out in most of Burbank where I live and where the Hospital is.
