Today I am taking a drive to Ventura to do a little shopping I am picking up my co worker Naomi at home she is the one I have been covering so many night hours for. She has a torn ligament in her wrist. She has been couped up in her house for almost 2 months still waiting for authorization to see a Orthopedic Dr. So this little outing will be nice. Naomi is a New York born Puerto Rican chick she is a lot of fun! Joe is also joining us. We will shop and have a little lunch then be on our way home so I can be to work at 3:30.

Yesterday when I got off work at 1:00 I was shocked that I had to turn my air on in my car. It was warm and sunny out again! I came home to my 3 DVD’s from Netflix in the mail, I reopened my account late Wednesday night and the 3 DVD’s in my queue were shipped out so fast I can hardly believe it. Now I have some movies to watch before work the next 3 days since I am working the 3:30-Midnight shift all weekend! The plan this weekend is, today sleep in and my nails at 2:00 ,then work. Sunday I am driving to Ventura with a friend I work with at the Hospital. We will leave at 10:00 and spend about 3 hours there so that gives me plenty of time to get to work. Sunday night New Years Eve Joe and I will do our annual Canter’s Deli at Midnight when I get off. Monday just going to relax before work and watch my DVD’s.

Last night it felt so good not having to go to the Hospital right after work. I hit the mall again!
I got myself another velour outfit in pink. Now I have pink, black & red. I also picked up my 2007 Charles Wysocki “Cat Tales” calendar for 1/2 price at Borders. I went to the food court in the mall and got myself some shrimp tempura & chicken teriyaki for dinner. I was at home eating by 6:30. Then I exercised and watched :tv1: Oh, I re opened my Netflix account I have 3 DVD’s on the way already suppose to be here today!

Yesterday I had my physical that is always fun lol Before I went we had a hail storm. I took a picture off the balcony of the roof of the house next door to me. You can see the white flecks coming down from the picture below.
The Dr. commended me on how healthy and in shape I look and that felt real good! When I saw him last I had not started my exercise routine yet. Since I had to fast all day until my 4:30 appointment I was so ready to eat. Debbie met me at my house and we went around the corner to Barragan’s Mexican restaurant. I had the Carnita’s Tostada and afterwards we treated ourselves to Flan and a great cup of coffee. Below is a picture of Debbie and I. Debbie is a my friend that I have known since 1963 when we met at 13 years old in Junior High, 43 years ago. OBTW I got a new digtital camera for Christmas
