Since I posted last I got my roomie back! Well just for awhile. Tiffany had to move out she had a “roommate from hell” situation and she is still has to pay her part of the lease until Sept. Then she will get a small one bedroom in Burbank for just herself. The kitties were very excited to see her back, it was like she had never been gone for 7 months at all. And the other good news is Justin and her have been talking, they even went out to dinner a few weeks ago. Even if they don’t get back at least they are friends. That makes us all very happy because we love Tiffany!

Last night we went to a play at The Falcon Theater in Burbank it was Billy & Ray written by Mike Bencivenga & directed by Garry Marshall. The world premiere of Billy & Ray tells the incredible true story of how Billy Wilder (Kevin Blake) and Raymond Chandler (Shaun O’Hagan) wrote the screenplay for Double Indemnity, invented film noir and nearly killed each other in the process. Set in Hollywood in the 1940’s, Paramount producer Joe Sistrom (Anthony Starke) and secretary par excellence Helen Hernandez (Ali Spuck) join the hilarious journey through a war of creativity between two brilliant writers who battled the censors, and each other, to create a motion picture classic. It was really good!!

This is my first full week back and and it is full steam ahead. We have no comedy shows this week but I do have a play with Chris on Thursday night at the Falcon Theater and this play is directed by Garry Marshall who owns the theater. He will also be holding a Q & A after the show I read in an email that I received yesterday. So this is a very quiet week in the evenings for me to just go home after work and enjoy spending time with the kitties who are so happy I am home. And watch lots of TV. I so missed regular TV programming while on the ship. They had news stations and lots of new movies but just a few TV shows they would broadcast. Since Princess Cruise were the ships they used in the TV series “Love Boat” that was on TV for 9 years they played a lot of those episodes that was fun to see again.

It is so hard to get back into the swing of things after being on vacation for 2 weeks. We got back Wednesday afternoon I didn’t go back to work until Friday which was a short day for Good Friday. My first day back to the Hospital was Saturday. I finally scanned and uploaded all our vacation pictures Saturday before work. We had a wonderful time and the weather was gorgeous everywhere we went starting from Ft Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday 3/16. We did the Everglades Airboats and saw a few gators and then spent the evening where all the Spring breakers were on the beach boardwalks. We boarded the Emerald Princess Sunday at 12:00 and were at sea Sunday-Tuesday. First stop was Aruba then Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica, St Thomas and then at sea all day Monday and our final stop was Tuesday 3/26 Princess Cays, Bahamas. The pictures are out of order and I was just to busy to finish labeling each picture in Flickr. On the Island of Grenada they are famous for their spices and we took a tour that took us to a Nutmeg plantation and a Nutmeg processing center. We saw falls in Grenada and Dominca. We took a tour all around Aruba and visited Natural pools and beaches. We relaxed at Megans Bay, St Thomas and in Bonaire and Princess Cays Bahamas. We shopped took tours, hiked and enjoyed the ships wonderful buffets and formal dining rooms. We had a blast!
