Flo TV |
Over the weekend I found out the 3 week move upstairs because our office was flooded 6 weeks ago at the hospital has now been changed to 3 months. I am very unhappy since that means no TV late at night when I am there on Friday and Saturday’s until midnight. So I found a solution, Flo TV and I have until Oct. to get it at Best Buy for $149 with 3 months of free service. I have been watching Seinfeld, 48 Hours, Hart to Hart & Rockford Files TV shows online. Netflix movies online don’t seem to work on our computers. I tried and it never seems to connect. I did find some other websites to watch movies on. But I really miss the 11:00 pm news and other local shows and movies.

Fun Busy Weekend! |
My weekend was fun but really busy. I don’t plan on doing that again on a working weekend. I am worn out. The baby shower was fun they had a great big sub sandwich from Santoro’s with 3 or 4 different salads. I left after about 2 hours before they even opened the presents and ate cake, and I went home to relax for for about 45 minutes before work. Sunday I worked 10-6:30 went grocery shopping on my break then headed to Chris’s house right after work at 6:30 for a BBQ. I was going to try to fit a movie in after the BBQ but I was just too beat so I headed home at 8:00 and watched the Emmy’s instead.

Happy Monday! |
I would love to say I had a great weekend but it was kind of sucky and I might add I don’t have many sucky weekends. I don’t like where they moved us at the hospital at all. Even though it will only be for three weeks until they finish all the repairs to our office from the flood we had. The no TV situation drove me crazy and the bathroom down the hall was not a good thing either. I just made sure I did not drink any liquids for the 5 hours I was by myself on Friday and Saturday. Sunday was not as bad since I worked the 10-6:30 shift with co-workers. Also on my dinner break on Saturday night I noticed my car felt like it was loosing power a little and sure enough the check engine light came on, so at least I knew I wasn’t imagining it and that there really was something wrong. Two weeks ago I had a problem which was fixed, a sensor had to be replaced and it has nothing to do with what it is going on now with my car. I have been very lucky and have had almost nothing other than a new battery for my little 2002 Ford Focus with 150,000 miles. My worry was missing work again but the good news is the kids now live here so I was able to use Paul’s Mustang to go to work today. Chris followed me over to drop the car off at the mechanics on my lunch break and I will dropped the mechanic’s on the way to work to give them my keys.

Dinner in Granada Hills |
Last night the plan was to get a little DVD player for working at the Hospital this weekend since we haved moved to a temporary office and guess what? They don’t make those little DVD players in Blu Ray yet! All my DVD’s I rent from Netflix are Blu Ray. Drats! I have to figure out a plan B now. When I am at the hospital by myself from 7:00 pm until midnight the phones are only busy until about 9:00 PM and I can actually follow TV’s shows after 9:00 on. So I will have to find some TV shows on the internet to pass time on Friday and Saturday night’s for the next 3 weekends. Sunday I work 10-6:30 and I work with 2 people so that is not bad at all without a TV. It is just when I am by myself. So my title from yesterdays post still applies. I am spoiled!
