Last night instead of going out to dinner again with Paul. I picked up Chinese take out and we watched the George Clooney DVD “Up in the Air” while eating. I really enjoyed the movie a lot. It was on my list of movies to see. I do go to a lot of movies but some always slip by me and I put them in my queue in Netflix. For dinner I picked up Orange Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. There were lots of leftovers so I will take some to work with me for lunch today.

They are now saying that this is the coolest July in So Cal’s history. We broke heat records last week but the week before the beginning of July it was unseasonably cool. This last week we barely hit the 80’s which I am very happy with. Cool is good to me!

Paul & I met at the new house before dinner so I could see what he had done so far. Then we went to the Hill Street Cafe which is just down the street from them. They are also one of my son’s customers, they do all their jetting maintenance on a regular basis. They are no Tallyrand but they are very good. I had a Greek sandwich which was delicious. Paul will be here until tonight. They got an offer on their house. A very low offer but they would break even. So we will see?? Supposedly the guy has cash and needs to move in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed here!

Sorry that I missed visiting blogs yesterday. I knew that I would probably not be home until late Wednesday night from the play and I was right. This play is my best to date except for Rent which is my all time favotite. It was a very intimate theater it is called a 99 seat equity waiver theater, there were almost all women except 3 men that I saw. The five actresses were so close to where we sat in the front I could of reached out and touched their toes they were sitting on high chairs and that is where they read their lines. It was just what the title said LOVE LOSS and WHAT I WORE. It was touching, funny and sad all in one. Rhea Perlman was great as always BUT Conchata Ferrell was my favorite she was almost the same brass character “Berta” that she plays on Two and a Half Men! Rhea Perlman and Danny Devito’s daughter Lucy was also in it and she was so cute and I loved to watch Rhea watch her with as she read her lines. Then there was Nancy Travis of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Three Men and a Baby and she was great also. The one actress that I did not recognize the name turned out to be someone I use to watch on HBO show called Six Feet Under, Justina Machado and currently in a TV show called Three Rivers, she was fabulous too! They all had a great chemistry which made it work. There were some LOL parts one when Conchata was talking about women’s purses. The sad parts where when Nancy Travis’s character was diagnosed with breast cancer. They touched on every woman’s issue that you could imagine. This is play that even if you are not a play person you will love if you see it!
