Dru’s Dippity Do Da’s

Lily dive-bombs into the fridge whenever I open it and I have to pull her out. This is every single time I open it. Yesterday before work I was leaving early driving my sons Mustang to go by the mechanics to give them my keys so I was rushing and when I pulled my lunch out she dive-bombed in the fridge as usual and I was sure I pulled her out but while at work I started worrying that I didn’t remember seeing her as I walked out the door and then the anxiety that maybe she jumped right back in after I pulled her out came over me. So I texted Justin while he was in school to go over and look in the fridge when he gets out at 11:15. I knew that I would worry all day if I did not do that. Of course she was not in there. But until he went there and checked I was worried about it. She is the most hyperactive kitty I have ever had and when she gets her mind set on something she does not forget or give up on it! I have never been in a hurry for a cat to grow up but with Lily I am. She is just a ball of lightening.

For those of you who were wondering how Lily and Billy Elliot were getting along.

Lily like I had expected did very well at the Vet’s last night. She got to meet Billy Elliot’s Dr. Kirszenbaum, and she seemed to like her very much. Now when she is gets older it might be a different story. But she did yelp when she got her shots. I heard her all the way in the waiting room. They also did a Feline Leukemia test that I got the results before we left NEGATIVE! I did have a cat that succumbed to the disease at only 5 years old. It is like AIDS for cats. After I brought her home Billy hid from her for a little while. He hates the Vet’s so I know he smelled the office on her and the carrier is a dead giveaway too. He knows the sound of it. When he heard me take it out he ran and hid under the bed. When he goes to his yearly visit I take it out a week in advance and sit it on it’s side in the dining room so when I am ready to take him I can drop him in but since he is overweight I have to stuff him in.

Justin picked all his classes out for school yesterday. Lisa and Justin left and Lisa won’t be down for a week or so. This weekend coming up she is having a Birthday party for her friend Belinda. Paul had to submit the electrical plans to the architect and as soon as he gets them back today he has to take them to the City of Burbank. So he most likely will be leaving today and coming back this weekend with Justin to work on the house. I got my car washed right after work last night. I love that the car washes are open after work during the summers since we are light until 8 p.m. I am also happy that I don’t have to use my precious time on the weekends to do it. I wanted to do a little Costco shopping last night but will put that off until Wednesday night I just wanted to go home eat dinner and relax instead.
