The good news is Lisa’s sister Darlynn does not have a staph infection and they say she will be able to go home today or tomorrow with her new baby Carlee. Lisa and Paul will be leaving tonight to go back home, they decided to stay an extra day so that Paul could complete some work on the bathroom he is re-doing for Chris and Lisa could visit her sister while she is still in the Hospital. Last night we got together and had dinner at the Acapulco Mexican restaurant. We all had fajita’s. I had steak and shrimp and it was delicious! I got back home at about 10:00 and boy was I tired, my bed was calling my name! Tonight I am going to pack for long weekend at the kids house.

Paul and Lisa came into town minus Justin since he is already back in school. Lisa’s sister Darlynn (not to be confused with Darylynn she has a “y” in her name) had her 5th baby on Saturday and had some complications. She received a blood transfusion on Sunday but on Monday had a high fever and they were afraid of a staph infection so Lisa had to come and see her, and Paul decided to come so he could gut Chris’s guest bathroom that he is re-doing for her. So I had the pleasure of seeing them last night. We went out to dinner and then just hung out at Chris’s for awhile. We did get some good news later in the evening night that Darlynn seems to be better her fever is down, so hopefully she did not have a staph infection? Lisa will visit her again today while Paul is working on the bathroom. They plan on leaving after dinner so I will meet up with them again tonight. Natasha is holding the fort down so to speak and will take Justin to school today and take care of the animals.

My weekend turned out a lot different than I had planned. On Saturday I got up and out the door at about 8:30 and got my cars oil changed and then a car wash. I went to the bank and then picked up some lunch and went home to eat and get ready for work. On my dinner break I went to the mall and picked up my Victoria’s Secret supplies and went to the market for a few things dropped them off and went back to work. On Sunday my plans to see Tropic Thunder changed, Jan ended up going to the kids house for the weekend, and I had completely forgotten Joe and I were going to see the Fab Four here in Burbank at the Starlight Bowl. All the years I have lived in Burbank I had never been there nor had I ever seen the famous Beatles cover band the Fab Four. So this was a real treat. We had dinner there during the concert under the stars.

I spoke to Justin yesterday and he told me he has a driving class appointment on Saturday so that means he will be legal to drive behind the wheel with Grandma Dru when I am there next week! I will be sure to bring my Valerian Root, it is a natural relaxer. Just kidding I will be fine with him driving me around town!
